Leopard in a Landscape
I painted this leopard fast, in hot yellows and black, letting her spots bleed into the tangle of branches around her so she almost disappears into the bush. Only the eyes stay sharp, holding your gaze while the rest of the canvas keeps moving. There's a half-hidden face caught in the foliage on the right, a reminder that something is always watching back.
