Garter
She's sprawled back on the pillows in her underwear, one leg kicked straight up, the red garter caught on her toe like she's about to flick it off. I kept the whole canvas in grey and white so that one spot of red would carry the painting. It was a fast, loose pose, more about the gesture of the leg than anything else.
